St Michaels is a community of faithful seekers who from their relationship with God are engaged in mission and ministry in the church, community and world. Blessed with a beautiful facility in the downtown core of Prince George, we strive to make our space available to those who need it for sanctuary, education, healing. We partner with the recovery community providing daily meeting space for 12 step programs. We provide lunch to our downtown neighbours through the weekday lunch bag ministry. We participate in the interfaith soup bus to help feed those who are hungry. The newly renovated worship space is available as a concert venue and performance space. St Michaels is deeply committed to generous hospitality, care, healing and outreach.

St Michaels is committed to weekly prayer and fellowship, community building and faithful inquiry into the meaning of God’s love and presence in our lives and the world. In the Anglican tradition we gather Sunday mornings at 10 am to share in the Eucharist – Jesus’ meal of thanksgiving and the foretaste of the heavenly banquet. We listen to scripture, sing, share in reflection, pray for the world and those in need. We are nourished in Word and Sacrament at God’s holy table and sent into the world to be love and peace through God’s gift of Christ. All are welcome to worship with us. Seriously. Everyone and anyone. No restrictions. You are welcome.

St. Michaels has discerned that our facility, worship space and location in the downtown core provide opportunity to be generous to our neighbours and community. We intentionally offer the multipurpose space as a place for gathering, worship, education, healing and the support of the arts.

Our ministry is identified by four major cornerstones:
Worship: Weekly Sunday services of Holy Eucharist, seasonal services during the Church year: Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Advent, Christmas. Baptisms, weddings, funerals, civic gatherings and special shared services with our sister Anglican Church, Grace Church. Worship is central to our mission, work and lives
Health and Wellness: St Michaels is committed to the wellness of the whole human being. We partner with several 12-step and recovery groups who meet in our space 6 days a week. A lunch bag program provides nourishment to our downtown neighbours weekdays. We participate in the local Soup Bus program that also feeds those who have need.
Education: Opportunities for learning and growth in our faith and in our community are hosted and supported by St Michaels. Through the Center for Peace and Reconciliation, lectures, gatherings and workshops provide education about being community and global neighbours.
The Arts: St Michaels has a beautiful rehearsal space and performance space that is home for many local arts groups and ensembles. Our hall and the newly renovated and adaptable sanctuary space are ideal for medium sized gatherings. We are committed to supporting the arts, creativity and community.
